Stan Anker has been a practicing attorney since 1984. After working for Touche Ross in Minneapolis (now Deloitte Touche), one of the "Big 8" accounting firms, he moved to Rapid City, where he established Anker Law Group.

Stan's practice includes bankruptcy law,* estate planning, estate administration and probate, commercial law, taxation law, real estate, criminal law and family law. His broad legal scope allows him to address and resolve the kinds of challenges his clients face that involve interplay between many areas of the law.

Current and past satisfied clients as well as fellow attorneys regularly refer clients to Stan and his son Stanton Anker, who joined the practice in 2005 as an associate attorney.

Memberships in the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the State Bar of South Dakota, the Pennington County Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute are held by either one or both of our attorneys. Anker Law Group is licensed to practice before all South Dakota criminal and civil courts, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court of South Dakota and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit.
