Stan H. Anker

Stan's practice areas include bankruptcy, creditor and debtor representation, estate planning, commercial law, taxation, and real estate. He has lectured continuing education regarding real estate law in South Dakota and made estate planning presentations to such organizations as the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, the Rancher's Workshop, and the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo. He has also served as attorney for creditor committees in Chapter 11 Bankruptcies.

Stan received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of South Dakota and worked for Touche Ross, one of the Big 8 accounting firms in the world, (now Deloitte Touche) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Stan has served as an officer with the Noon Optimist Club and is a current officer with Lions International. Both organizations are dedicated to serving the community of Rapid City and the surrounding areas.

In his free time, Stan enjoys fly fishing and golf. He has been married to his wife, Bonnie, for over 35 years. They have two children and have served as foster parents.
