Stan H. Anker has been practicing law in Rapid City for more than 23 years. After growing up in Murdo, SD, where he spent his youth working on his father's farm, he received a degree in accounting from the University of South Dakota. From Vermillion, he moved to St. Paul, MN to attend Hamline University School of Law, where he graduated in 1980. After spending two years practicing for the CPA firm Touche Ross (now Deloitte Touche) in Minneapolis, Stan decided to move his family back to South Dakota to raise his two children. Stan was admitted to practice law in Minnesota in 1980, in South Dakota in 1983, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in 1981, the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota in 1984, the United States 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in 1990, and the United State Tax Court in 1982. Stan is a member of the South Dakota Bar Association, Pennington County Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He has also lectured on real estate matters, estate planning, and business planning.

Stanton A. Anker has joined his father in the practice of law. After growing up in Rapid City, Stanton received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. After spending time working for the CPA firm Anderson & Whitney, P.C. in Greeley, Stanton attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA, where he graduated in 2004. Stanton was admitted to practice law in South Dakota in 2005, the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota in 2005, and the United States Tax Court in 2006. He is a member of the South Dakota Bar Association, Pennington County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
