We have extensive experience in accounting, tax, financial matters and can assess and evaluate your situation to help you obtain your wills and trust and estate planning goals. We will offer practical guidance coupled with meticulous attention to the nuances and details necessary to help you pass on your wealth.

Our founder, Stan, has been helping farmers, ranchers, middle-aged couples, elderly widows and widowers, and business owners draft sound estate plans for more than 25 years.

What are the Estate Tax Laws?

The laws regarding estate taxes and gift taxes are ever changing. It started with the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001, and continued with the passage of the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010 in December 2010. The 2010 Act made many changes to estate tax (also referred to as the "death tax") and gift taxes. It even added portability of the estate tax. However, many of these provisions are set to expire in 2013. We can help you understand how the changing laws affect you.

Probate and Probate Litigation

Our firm handles all aspects of probate and estate administration. We guide our clients through the court process of opening a deceased person's estate and making sure that all the property and businesses are appropriately valued, that all assets are transferred to the correct people, all debts are paid, all tax returns are filed appropriately and that the estate is closed in accordance with the law.

We have extensive experience representing clients on either side of a will contest, handling estate litigation and probate litigation. We are mindful of the sensitive nature of these legal matters and will seek to resolve your challenge in the swiftest, most thorough and cost-effective manner we can.
